  1. ^ The total weight including the case, light blocking foam and elastic band is about 390g which is approximately the same as the Oculus Rift developers kit (DK). The new prototype with a different head mount weighs 100g more but it is actually more comfortable since the weight is better distributed over the head
  2. ^ Anyone with DIY skills and approximately 450$ can make an InfinitEye V1 which is very close to the current design.
